Hmm.... not all of our friends may like the idea of being dragged into a place to see a form of dance which they are not interested of... But at least it will be worth a try

it is sian lor... because all the songs are the same old ones that everyone dances... problem is that we hav a shortage of para vids to go around... avex doesn't only circulate the paraparaparadise series... there are others at CDJapan, which singaporean shops don't import to sell. that's a little hiccup in the para scene in singapore here...
besides... that time slot is just for para... i rather go exclusive/taps if i wanted techno and all... or maybe sparks... problem is... i don't like techno lolz~ anyway the DJ can't make it, even with eurobeat. what makes you think he can handle techno? haha~

true lor... but that means extending the hours liao... because 4hours is definately not enuff... and if you extend the hours... i doubt those under 18 can enter... that's the basis of all entertainment pubs... they serve alcohol there too... and they also want to make money lol~ it's hard to balance the 2 lor...

hmmm... but with the "enthusiasm" of the DJ... do you really think it will happen? it will need really good management, good publicity. don't forget, will the space be large enuff?

like i say, if they really have the thought to make their business big, they will think of these. space is not a problem actually loh.. i mean, if the business is really that good rite, i believe they will find a bigger place mah. then like tht we can also haf a bigger dance floor rite?

i think if they really wan to promote para, i think they should get more para vidz than wat they have now.. PPF_FLaMe, basically i feel that mixing para dances n techno dances is a big nono.. That place will become a place where two different groups(techno grp n para grp) come together.. I feel this not only make the whole place crowded n also will shorten the time that para dancers can dance.. I would rather not have any techno music at all.. Its a nice thought though but i feel for the good of the para community, this idea is not very encouraging.. anytime of the day, give me more para...

Eurobeat and techno together?? *Imagines* two situations will appear... 1. The crowd would be the same as the general public wun bother to dance para if their idea was techno in the first place. Going there will waste 1/2 their time on para songs which they couldn't dance. 2. Whenever the DJ plays techno, Techno people dance, whenever the DJ plays eurobeat, Para people dance.
So it's better not to mix......

Although it is a gd suggestion but, ya....... I dun tink it will work out. It will be better, for wad i tink, if there is a place juz for para and a place juz for techno.
Actually to promote the place and para, u can juz bring in ur frens who r interested or curious abt para to join in. I may even find a time to bring my godsis to come. In these ways, they may even help promote para by telling the rest of their frens how interesting para is.

by the way, don't have the impression that people just absolutely detest or dislike para... the actual fact is that, they're just really interested at what para is, although their comments may seem harsh. learn to be a little more thick skinned =)

Darren..... U would come to cwp and yishun to c for ursellf. Except fot the Sky Tokyo plp and a grp of paralist call Trance, nobody seems to dance para there. In fact they dun like para. They onli dance freestyle. Once they c a gd freestyler, they will gather around and watch. But once a gd paralist is dancing para, they will juz walk away.

what people don't understand, they naturally will shun... para para is still a relatively new thing in singapore... and frankly, i don't mind these sort of reactions... have you ever wondered why people walk away from paralists performing on machines? that's because the MACHINE is considered old. it's been around for almost 2years... what makes you think people will want to look at a 2year old game being played? the eurobeat songs are also really limited... since freestyling is always something different, they would rather watch that, naturally! don't believe me? juz try dancing to just music somewhere out in the open with a mini hifi... people will definately watch~! you won't have many ppl actually stopping to watch a full song (hey, they are walking to get somewhere you know), but still, they will watch... it's not the dance's fault, it's the arcade machine's one!

Ya.... Agreed. Well cant wait for the Para 3rd Mix to come out. It is going to be out soon. I have actually even seen the logo display. But it is small and unclear. Wad i can see is onli the 3rd Mix, but it is under a Para poster, so i assume it is a Para 3rd Mix logo.

I just hope and pray that paraparaparadise 3 machine come out fast!!!! I wonder wat songs will be on the machine.. ;D As for free-style verus para moves.... i tink para moves are harder to fully master compared to freestyle.. Freestyle varies btw individuals but para? Once u do wrong, we all know... Its harder to discipline urself to dance it correctly.. perhaps, in the public's eyes, para seems quite "dead" and not exciting whereas freestyler gives the impression that they are very vibrant n creative... But still... para para is a very fun dance whereby a lot of pple can dance together, paralist felt belonged when they dance... not like freestyle(usually individualistic)...
