ahhhh wat ahhhh, ahhhh lay looo yaaaaa~~~~ ROFLMAOZ k this is called post-first-paper-of-the-exams syndrome well anyway, i bet my underpants at least 3% of students in that school have actually tried para, and LIKED it, but hey, its like 3 cats versus 97 elephants, can't expect them to voice out their comments on a school forum can't they? anyway, lets stop this stereotyping, i'm pretty sure there is no WHOLE organisation where EVERY SINGLE member will joke about para (if there is, tell me, i'll burn it down ;D) anyway, wat angela said is correct, we SHOW them the way *keyboardmania 3rd mix song * we SHOW them wat we're capable of, *but i wonder will they even come down to MS?* and for world peace's sake, our motive is to make every1 accept para though, let's not get all gabragalabra abt it shall we?

And that school sucks. Haha...
Keke, the weird thing is someone (not me) BOTHERED to start such a thread. That means there are some ppl really interested inside, no?

.....oh well...last time,1/2 years ago, i 1st saw para as an unknown arcade game and didn't really much care about it. The most memorable scene was at suntec, when i glanced over at the mac. It was located somewhere inside the arcade, a not very eye-catching area. I saw a guy dancing para(i thought it was para, but now i know its called freestyle) like crazy. He was using so much energy! He looked like a lunatic. And back then, i thought para really sucked. But now, i have somehow learnt to appreciate and love it. I did not know para was so nice and interesting. Actually, singaporean freestylists spoil the image of para, so thats why many people see para as dumb coz they think those freestylers who dance it only want to show off like bengs and lians... So...ignore them because they just see it like this. Hopefully one day, our group of paralists here will be able to change their image of para.

sidetracks for some entertainment value
Wonder if you guys remembered this guy at the teenage.com singles competition at EastPoint who got posessed by the Monkey God ...
Anyway, ignorance is a virtue. There will still be people who'll laugh at pregnant dogy Spears Britney Spears. You've got your own life to live up to, and you don't need people to live it for you telling you what you should do and what not.
Grunch culture dictates you wear your pants low no matter the situation.

extracted from my other post
Singaporeans are a funny bunch. They often like to criticize things they know nuts about, and claim that they are experts in them. But when you challenge them do it, they give you all sorts of stupid excuses in order not to do it. It's all very well if they are idiots, but some just go all out to prove that they are. Absolutely unbelievable. I mean, I've been to quite some places in my life, but the way Singaporeans like to prove to others really take some beating. As I would say, whatever those idiots' minds are like, we can't do anything about it. They can carry on being the idiots they are, and while they can have a field day laughing at us, we just don't need to care - then they'll realise what idiots they have made themselves out to be. Our aim is simple - we don't need to change those idiots' thinking. Our job is to convert those who doesn't know what Para Para is but wouldn't mind having a try into true-blue Paralists. As for those idiots - well, why waste time on them? They can have a go at us for all we care... ultimately we enjoy doing what we are doing so who cares?! If they feel rejected because the bulk of us are enjoying Para Para together as a huge group, it's their loss. Not ours.
Won't you think so too?

parapara seems quite easy (to the normal public), but the real essence of it is quite hard to really master... If we compared our own skills to that of parapara all stars, we can see they are much more skilled than us.. (U get the idea what i mean?) But can the normal public understand that para para is not that simple? It is not simply a "Hand-waving" exercise, it needs practise, creativity, the passion, spirit of unitedness, to make a group of paralists reach almost perfection.. Every dance is unique.. No dance is very easy or only for a certain sex. no matter it is para, hip hop, breakdance, line-dance, ballet or lion-dance.(yes lion dance) Perhaps after more "education" had been done to the public, the view that para is a dance for "sissy, ah-gua" or an arcade game would be changed. This change would not be immediate, but with time, we hope that we can acheive more acceptance of para para.... No one likes pple to say something bad abt what they love.. but if someone ever say anything bad abt para.. first ask urself one thing... "Do u want to get angry or not?" If u choose to be angry, then ask urself, "do they really understand para?" If the answer is no to this question, forget it, it is because they are ignorant thats why they behave this way. No pt getting angry. y not find out why they dun like it (as in seriously) n try to explain to them... If they are not interested or still dun understand.. forget it... I would give up hope in these pple. Hehe... so i would like to say... dun get angry.. And as what Yvonne had said, It is oso a probable reason.. pple see u have something to enjoy but they are not or can't be part of ur grp.. they tend to criticize.. it may not be logical at all but that the way a lot of pple are.. Well, calm down n dun be angry abt it anymore... why not join any of the events that are coming up this june n enjoy urselves?? There are SOOOOOOO many events to enjoy this June!! Yippie! ;D

Let's not relate Para Para Dancing with going crazy inside a Para Para Paradise arcade machine. We all (by now) should know Para Para ain't just an arcade game. That's what we had in mind when organising Para Para events during June down town, to show everyone that the best of Para Para isn't obtaining perfect scores for 5 Eurobeat songs on an arcade machine. Forget the stereotyping, just go out and make the events successful by just dropping by. See you there.
