Guess it's my turn to start being in-charged of something ... all the other PPSG committee members have ran something / are running something this June. KC has done an excellent job over-seeing 1st June's performances, Darren's busy with this coming Wednesday outside Cineleisure, Luke with the ECPMAC (quite a little disappointed but anyway ...), Shingo's running the 9th Mass Dance event ... ... so ... well ... yah ...
The EuRoFeSt!~!
So for a start, I shall recap the performing teams for this event: Nostalgic Productions Operation Para Xe...no...riod..? Ike Space Paradise Para Para Chaos Europura
Did i left out any groups? Do inform me how many dancers will be performing for your group, and how long will your mix be, as accurately as possible to facilitate our planning. Your mix should PREFERABLY be on average of 5 - 6 min long. It'll be the same NYC Youth Park stage, and we prefer the mix to be burnt on a CD.
Useful Information: Deadline for informing me / changes -- 12th June, 9pm. Reporting time for performers -- 5:30pm, stage is opened for rehearsals 'til 6pm. Failure to report before 6pm shall result in ... well ... erm ... you should know right? We can't entertain last minute surprises and affect the schedule. Songs to expect for the great mass dance -- Someone pls update me it's not listed in the minutes to meeting Teaching Session Song for the day -- Niko's Electric Power Location -- National Youth Park Time -- 1830 - 2130 Strictly No Alcohol, and Minimum Smokingsomewhere not visible to the public would be good
Any problems please reflect to me ASAP (as soon as possible). If not then see you guys at the next June Holidays event happening outside Cineleisure on the 5th.
In case you're wondering what's PPSG ...

Here's something new to add on to those performing this Para Para @ the Park. Give a name to the mix you'll be dancing to and the theme behind the selection of the songs. Things like they're your fav. songs, gentle & feminine, of the same artiste, 'cause they suit your character etc... You won't just be showing your Para Para creativity, but the mix you put in so much effort too.

Yah, sorta. You'll be asked bout it ... 'cause I know some people would eager to talk a little about their mixes, so now is their chance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE.
With the EuroFest just less than 48 hours away, the organising committee would need the following information urgently.
Performing groups: We need to know who are performing, so the performing team leaders please email me, Darren, Luke or SQ with the following information - some of you may have sent the info out already, but pls do it one more time as a final confirmation:- 1. Name of group 2. Number of performers 3. Length of performance 4. Preference in order of performance (first? last?)
Song teaching: At the moment we've got someone lined up for the teaching session, but if you feel that you can still teach something on Friday, please email the following info to us:- 1. Name of group 2. No. on stage, teaching the song 3. Title of song (preferably Avex track)
ALL THESE INFORMATION MUST REACH THE PPSG COMMITTEE BY 10 AM, 14 JUN 2002. Late submissions: You will not be able to choose the order of performance Non-submissions: Simple - you don't get to perform.
Hope that everyone can conform to the rules because it would ensure a smooth running of the event.
Another thing. Because there would be some mass dance at the event itself and our intention is to get each group to be on stage leading the dance for the few segments we've decided to split it up to. Each segment would probably have abour 7 to 10 songs so each group will get to lead the dance for that duration. The segments that each group will lead will be done by drawing lots so it should be fair and square for everyone concerned.
One final thing. There will be a briefing to the event at 3pm, 14 Jun 02 at Youth Park itself. Leaders of performing teams please kindly present yourselves at the briefing. And for god's sake please be on time - this point cant be stressed enough.

Thank you all groups and pple that have attended and participated in the June eurofest ( NYC @ the park). It is truely a great event and i would like to thank everyone for the efforts that you have put in! Three cheers for yourselves! Hip hip hurray!~~ x 3 I enjoyed the performances put up by everybody very much and hope that there are more chances to come by. I can see that it is the heart ans sweat of everyone. Anyway, if there are any suggestions on how to make the eurofest better, why not put it up here? Eg., how many times a yr or month shld the event be held. or how long. And what r the things that can be done~. I suggest a grp of the month kind of thing.(although i m not in any grp n never intend to be in one) The grp can be responsible for the performances or "MC-ing" kind of things. n can oso talk abt the history of the grp, n grp member of the month and experiences. Anything to make it interesting, will do! Even say can have some thank you performance for a special someone in a grp.wahaha.. ;D just suggestions! No matter how stupid or impossible..
