Hi, i'm yongjun, a he. I danced para for two years already but i can do only very very very little no. of songs (about 10 => the whole song, 20 something => parts of the songs only). Why...i started out in learning arcades. By the time my curiosity turned into interest, many paralist had converted themselves to freestylers and others had left. :<
Even if the para is disappearing (or more appropriate, has disappeared) from S'pore, my passion for para never dies! I'm desperate to learn more songs and even more so after an incident last saturday...i went to HVM looking for some Super Eurobeat CDs. And to my surprise, all of them had disappeared from the shelves. I realised something and TIS IS URGENT. If i dun start collecting these last memories of para in S'pore, one day, even PPP CDs will disappeared from the shelves!
Though i really wanted to start collecting now, i'm lacking in resources. In other words, I have some 'limiting factor' (u noe wat...$$$). YES, I NEED UR HELP. I'll be very grateful if u do help. U offer the price, I'll consider. U can contact me at tis no. 90489016

It's indeed wonderful to hear that even most of the "old birds" has gone freestyle or either dissappeared, new breeds are coming up every now and then. I do agree with you that it's virtually impossible to find Super Eurobeat CDs in Singapore because no one imports them, not even Avex Trax is doing so now because the popluarity and respond is poor, and i mean, POOR!. It goes to the same for Para Para All Stars VCDs. Acutually, it's kinda useless if you were to buy 2nd hand VCDs now because most songs that we danced are not even available in the CD Stores in Singapore. So, I suggest that you come down to Marina Square Leisureplex just outside the Games Station arcade every saturday and take a look at us (VOX) training in action. Haha I dunno if I'm still qualified to talk around here but I think the only way to get those videos would be asking someone to help you burn a copy... Approach the nice guys at VOX and I think they'll be more than happy to help.

Maybe making the .dat into a DivX file would make the sending less painful. Hahaha~~~

I appreciate greatly ur suggestions.
Actually, i found a shop in bugis junction that is still selling ppp vcds (too bad only the first four) and they r selling at 14.90. I guess i did the boss a favour (helping him to clear stock). Maybe if i save up fast enough to, i'll be able to grab them all before the boss decides to take them off the shelves.
Anyway, i'll still need u ppl help in getting 5, 6 and 7. I'll not mind and be very happy if one of u all really send me the entire .dat file.

For the sake of the future of Para Para, you can find me in mIRC GalaxyNet and do a [/whois Tyrian`-] command. If i'm around, you can just drop me a message and i'll be glad to send you the whole *.dat file of PPP5, 6 and 7. for video, it's wmv for audio, it's wma for wmv, i use Windows Media Encoder. for wma, i don't know. i guess i'll send you the whole dat file. or do you want me to zip up the 3 different series together and send you instead? Regards, Kuku_Bird |
