I guess some if not all have known about the cruel truth behind what had happened in this year's Chingay Possession (if not, go ask the guys in #paraparaparadise) but ya knoe, I was wondering...what IF there was Para Para in Chingay 2002? Would it have helped the local community to prosper? Would it still cling some interest amongst those who have lost it? How would it have affected anything, if it did?
I was wondering, if there was Para Para in Chingay, I think much more people would be exposed to Para Para, and PERHAPS they may start thinking of Para Para in a different way. Of course this way of thinking is quite optimistic but oh well I'm quite in neutral mood so I'm optimistic. I feel that as more people watched they would find it interesting and more people may have the interest for it, and also I believe there would still be more people dancing Para Para should it have commenced.
That's one overlooked part of Channel U, apart from that much sickened c******t. So what's yours?

Well, I think that if Para was in the Chingay Possession in 2002, den if would have helped the para scene in Singapore alot. Coz I think it will change at least some people's minds about Para being juz a normal arcade dance... They would see how Para-ing can be expressed in a different way, meaning with the formations and creativity of the group(s) performing it and change their whole concept about it being juz a "hitting sensor" dance, well, that is juz my opinion

Agree!!!!!! Y would they wanna cancelled the para sessions, dunnoe y.
If there really is a para session in chingay, it will really help the para scene alot. There are still lots of plp out there who tink that para is a arcade game, and it is crazy to follow para, and to dance para almost everyday. ( Like most of my classmate who tink that i am siao coz mi always go to ms to practice my para for my performance. All they could tink of is mi performing para in a machine!!!! Coz they havnt seen a para comp or performance b4.)
If lot of plp have seen more para performance or competition on TV, their mind will certainly change to another way of thinking. Hope that channel U change their mind and continued their competition and make it an annually event.
